We’ll be taking a planned pause in 2026 as we focus on creating our most ambitious event yet. Rather than hosting a convention this year, we’re dedicating our time to expanding the fan experience, introducing new programming, strengthening partnerships, and creating even more opportunities for our community. When anime expo chibi returns October 22–24, 2027, it will be our biggest and most immersive event yet.

We’re taking this time to reimagine anime expo chibi from the ground up so that when we return in 2027, we’ll deliver an experience that raises the bar in every way.Since launching in 2022, anime expo chibi has grown into a destination for passionate anime fans looking for a welcoming, community-driven place to discover new fandom, celebrate longtime favorites, and connect with fellow fans. Designed to rekindle the nostalgia of fandom’s early convention days when every discovery felt personal, the event has welcomed both first-time attendees and longtime fans alike.
We’re choosing to invest in building an event that exceeds expectations and creates even more unforgettable moments for our fans.
