Description: Sumo Stars MENDEE and ZORIG will take questions about sumo culture and their experiences. Feel free to ask questions about anime, too! Learn firsthand about Japanese traditions -- both ancient culture & pop culture -- with these Sumo Champions!

Location: Chibi Plaza Stage

Description: Enjoy this feature event, where you'll learn about sumo training, techniques, rituals, and rules. Cheer for your favorite wrestler as they compete in a series of matches. 

Day: Sunday, November 9

Time: 

• Seminar - 10:30AM - 12:00PM 
• Free Photo Op and Autograph Sessions - 12:00PM - 1:30PM 

Location: Chibi Plaza Stage

Description: You can learn the fundamentals of sumo at this special class with Sumo Champions MENDEE and ZORIG. Beginners will learn the key exercises, training techniques, and rituals. There will also be some audience interaction, including Q & A, and even a chance for a few people to try pushing a sumo star! For safety, no full sparring at this event.

• There will be one line for both photo ops and autographs.

• The first 75 attendees will get free Shikishi Board Autographs.

• Once all 75 SPJA shikishi boards have been given out, attendees may use their program guide, merch, or personal item to receive signatures.

• Attendees can elect to purchase an item at the table to have signed instead of the Shikishi board.
